Ambient

  • Find a place where you feel comfortable talking privately and without interruptions;

  • Leave a glass of water, coffee or tea by your side;

  • If you need to create acoustic isolation, place a music device on the door outside the room where you are doing the therapy;

  • Choose a location with good lighting.

Equipment

  • A good internet connection is very important. If you have problems with your Wi-Fi, you can try switching your connection to a 3G, 4G or 5G;

  • We will preferably use Zoom for sessions. However, if necessary, we may use another platform to hold the session;

  • Make sure your device (computer, cell phone or tablet) has a charged battery or connected to a charger;

  • In order to preserve secrecy and sound quality, it is interesting to use headphones. 

Important tips

  • Preferably leave your equipment (computer, cell phone or tablet) resting on a stable surface;

  • Turn off device notifications and do not use apps during the session. Take advantage of your therapy time to be in therapy!

  • Whenever possible, use a computer, as the screen size allows for a better view. If you don't have one available,  you can use a cell phone or tablet. 

  • Position the screen at eye level to help bring communication closer;

  • It is important that you are in an environment where you can remain seated and comfortable, just as you were in the office;

  • ​ Do not do other activities during your therapy hours (driving, washing dishes, etc.). Remember: this moment is your moment, of reflection and contact with your thoughts and feelings. Enjoy it in the best way!
